Features of rope tester INTROS
•INTROS designed for inspection of round, flat and steel-rubber flat wire ropes which have wide range of diameters and size. Thus the customer can find appropriate instrument for practically any need.
•INTROS is dual-function LMA/LF type. This means that the customer may simultaneously obtain precise LMA and LF signals interpreted as charts reliably and simple.
•Light weight and small size of magnetic heads. Careful computer made design and, use of ultra-powerful magnets and modern electronic components make our rope tester INTROS smaller and lighter than any competing instrument.
•Basic unit ( data logger ) has pocket size. Its internal memory makes permanent inspection records available. It is very important for inspection of suspension ropes. For this purpose basic unit can be fixed on magnetic head traveling along the rope.
•Accurate readings provide customer with objective information about real condition of rope.
•Computer processing with special software package WINTROS® is a powerful instrument for interpretation of test results.
•No special preparation of the rope is required for inspection. Readings are not affected by grease, paint or lubricating materials.
•Speed of rope under test does not affect readings. Testing of ropes moving either at very low or high speed gives accurate readings for the both LMA and LF channels.
•Simple and fast installation of magnetic head on the rope. It takes few seconds to install magnetic head on the rope and reliably fix it with spring loaded locks.
•Rugged construction affords customers to use INTROS in adverse environment like in mining, offshore, etc.
•Simple calibration modes. Calibration of the instrument can be made either with rope sample with artificial defects or, if the rope sample is not available, under specially developed calibration procedure. Both of these modes are precise and simple.
•Battery operation and CE mark. Battery capacity provides INTROS with enough energy to work continuously at least 6 hours. Conformity to CE requirements allows use of the instrument in many industries.
